it's simple, really. we were faced with the challenge of creating something to make our high school library a better place and improve the lives of its users. while we are fully aware that this is not the most innovative idea, we wanted to introduce it to our school community and leave a little piece of ourselves behind once we had completed the course and our years at the school.

why do we believe that this product will make our school a better place? we have designated this structure to be strictly technology-free. we have noticed that people are too connected through their personal devices there, so we figured it would be smart to give them a place to laugh with friends, read a book, or have meaningful conversations with those around them. because of our society these days, it's almost impossible to not  be connected to the internet; we almost don't have a choice anymore. although some high school students may be heartbroken to put their phones down voluntarily, we really hope that our peers can learn from this experience and converse face-to-face.
